newsICT for sustainable growth in a low carbon economy, digital innovation and ICT for and by the citizen26 Jan 2010'ICT 2010: Digitally Driven' is a biennal ICT event organised by the European Commission.This year it will be held in Brussels on 27-29 September 2010. Ssustainable growth and digital innovation will be amonsgt the main topics of the event. The event will focus on policy priorities such as Europe's Digital Agenda and the next ICT research programme of the European Union. The two main themes for the event will be 'ICT for sustainable growth in a low carbon economy' and 'ICT for and by the citizen'. Co-hosted by the European Commission and the Belgian Presidency of the EU, the event will aim to present and discuss latest research trends in information and communication technologies and the state-of-the-art of digital innovation in Europe.
